Go Lang - Quick Setup

I had almost written this post two weeks back using the wordpress mobile client on my #samsung note stylus (handwriting mode) during a train travel. Though the client indicated that the post is saved as draft on the mobile client, it never uploaded to the server and I lost all my content. Coming back to the post, the intention of this post is for someone who has decent knowledge of C/C++ programming and wants to give a try to #golang.

KDE Plasma Wallpaper (Devel)

It started with inability to control the wallpaper on KDE 4.10 desktop. Though there are few plasma add-ons for wallpaper included in kdeplasma-addons. Though you have interactive Map/Globe and Mandelbrot plugins. I found the basic Image type wallpaper lacks some functionality. Few settings the Image-Type is shown here

GoLang :Simulation of QPSK SER in AWGN Channel

The new (atleast to me) programming language Go. The philosophy behind the change and need for the new notations and the language writing itself impressed me. I am a long time C,C++ user. The website has few sample programs to run online itself (Check the Tour).

Wanted to test out a simple code within my domain. And what else could be simplest code for a wireless system modelling - A BER performance of QPSK modulated symbols in AWGN channel. Here goes the code.
